This shirt holds a slogan from a non-violent/intellectual resistance group in Nazi Germany called The White Rose society. The group consistently called for active opposition to dictator Adolf Hilter's regime by the slogan "We Will Not Be Silent". It lasted from June 1942 until February 1943 when the six core member group were executed. Today, the members of the White Rose are honored in Germany among its greatest heroes. As we stand up for the over 40,000 children who have been abducted by the LRA rebel group, the children forced to be child soldiers, and the young girls who have been victims of extreme sexual violence, we proudly wear this t-shirt as a means to bring their voice to light.
